DESIGN: This Splatter Screen made of fine metal mesh, numerous small holes to allow steam to exit the pan but not oil. This has two main purposes: droplets of hot oil can cause dangerous burns if they land on the skin, and, if they land elsewhere, can cause stains. The handle down/up metal sheet on the screen center folds flat for ease of removal and safety, and the handle does not conduct heat. We offer 4 sizes (in 8", 10", 11 1/2", 13") It's suitable for almost any size of pot or pan.
